Your Heart Chakra

Your heart chakra is located in the low centre of your chest, this is your green chakra.

This is your "I love you" chakra, it enables us to give and receive love in a healthy way, it gives is the ability to deal with sadness, betrayal and the loss of a loved one.

A healthy chakra can only receive as much energy as it transmits. It is not only about loving your friends and family, but allowing them to love you back.

You need to love and like yourself, treating yourself with the kindness and respect that you would extend to anyone you care about.

The heart is about connection, something we crave, yet this has sadly been yanked from us over the past year, it saddens me to think how many heart chakra are out of balance right now 

Wen we feel connection, it is like a warm fuzzy blanket comforting us, we consciously use this to heal.

Apply some elevation, geranium or diluted thyme to your heart area and inhale.

 When you heart chakra is working well you are warm and positive, just like a puppy, you want to show everyone how pleased you are to see them. You are non judgemental and create strong meaningful relationships. You are balanced, compassionate and you care for others, you don't need to say anything, people just feel better being around you. Your heart and lungs are strong and you have great posture.

However when it is out of balance...hmmmm.....you may have low self esteem, or maybe you have a heart of stone, yep we have all met one of those in our lifetime! 

Look for the good in the world, find the colour green, it is everywhere, mumma earth wants you to be happy, she wants your heart to be open and wide.

See the beauty in the trees, the plants, the grass, green buildings, insects like praying mantis, green eyes, jade jewellery, a green car, green boots.

Eat green foods, lettuce, zuchinni, peas, beans, capsicum, kale, spinnach, kiwifruit, avocado, pears, cucumber, tomatoes, artichokes, broccoli, brussels, apples, basil, chives, pistachios you don't have a shortage of green food to choose from, there are soooo many!


Get off your phone or computer and stand up tall, stretch that body, we all sit for far too long these days.

Do some aerobic exercise to get the heart pumping and filling those lungs with air.

Smile.

Say thankyou.

Compliment others.

Spend time with kids.

Volunteer.

Make time to spend time with those you love.

Go on dates.

Have sex!

Harmonise with the musical note 'F' say A like ah.

Use oils to support you like clary calm, elevation, lemon, tea tree, peppermint, jasmine, cypress, melissa and rose.

Try doing some yoga like bridge pose or cat/cow pose.

Carry crystals, emerald, aventurine, malachite, moss agate or jade for strengthening. 

For an over used chakra try rose quartz or pink tourmaline

If you are mediating or doing yoga, use some mudras, your heart chakra is all about the Shuni Mudra, touch the tips of the middle finger and thumb, place in front of the lower breast bone.  A great mudra for any hearing related issues, especially tinnitus. Also good for vertigo issues!
